Crown - Marie Antoinette

This once ordinary crown has been given new lustre. I gave it a coat of white and vanilla cream, on alternating rungs of the crown, then dusted it all with coarse sugary glitter. The bottom rim has alternating pearl cabachons in pale icy blue and aqua. The center gets added attention with a vintage turquoise and rhinestone earring, surrounded by faux pearls and shabby pink, paper roses. The top of the crown has a ring of aqua blue forget me nots and pink roses. Hung with silky aqua and ivory ribbons, is a glitter- edged tag of Marie herself, set within an ornate cream frame on a soft aqua background.

NOTE: There is a center built in holder for a tea light. I created this piece for decorative purposes only, and it is not recommended for use with a flame. If you wish to use it for this purpose, be sure to use a battery operated tea light. The crown also looks lovely with a mini bird nest or greenery placed in the center. Use your imagination or use it in it's lovely as-is state!
